A little new to this group, but I hope to use it as support. I started weight reduction Nov, 10. and have lost 30 lbs. The hard part is it keeps going up and down, but I keep up with the calorie counting and exercising, now I am looking for the Psychological support.

Hi, and WELCOME to our group.

Since I used to be a dyed in the wool Metsie, I'll forgive you your team preference.    Unless of course, you're talking about bear cubs, lion cubs, etc.  LOL

How on earth did you manage to lose 30 pounds in one month?  You sound like the folks on The Biggest Loser.  Whatever it is you've been doing, keep it up, and don't be discouraged at those times the scale doesn't show you what you want it to.  That hunk of plastic can be quite fickle you know.  Seriously, I think it's wonderful that you've shown such a great loss, but that's a lot of weight for one month, so just keep it in mind that slow and steady will win the race, so if it slows down, that's okay too.  None of us gained the weight overnight, and we're not going to lose it overnight.   And please, do not allow yourself to ever feel deprived.  With the WWs program, there is virtually nothing that's off limits, provided we stick to our program, and within our points.

I applaud you for what you've accomplished so far.  Keep up the great work, and post often please.  You are an inspiration for us all.

Hi
This is my first posting also.  I haven't actually joined WW, but I'm trying to do it without having to join and go to the meetings.  My daughter who lives in another state has joined again and she's doing pretty well, slow but still losing.  I've been on it for 4 weeks and haven't lost anything yet so I guess I'm doing something wrong.  I've started walking on the treadmill 6 nites a week and I thought after a couple of weeks I'd see some loss, but nothing yet.  All I can have is 18 pts but after a shakey start, the past 2 weeks I've managed to stay within my limits of the 18 + 35 extra pts.  I'm very discouraged but not giving up this time.
