Subject: Fried Chicken in a bread machine?

Who makes fried chicken in a bread machine?

I'd be afraid to even try this one.  In fact, I just bought a deep fryer for that purpose.   I'm on a small appliance quest these days.  LOL

Can you really do fried chicken in a bread machine?

Anne

I cannot imagine!  I was surprised to see "Kwanzaa Fried Chicken" listed as a recipe for this group.  Am I the only one seeing that?

[edited December-18-2007]

I've deleted this recipe from the group -- it was there simply because the bulk-addition saw in the tags and ingredients "Bread Crumbs"  :-)

So that's why Kofta, Injera, Pilaf, Stuffed Chicken Thighs, etc. are in this group!
Bulk Addition put 5000+ recipes in this group, which makes it useless to try to find bread machine recipes by group.

The group could decide on a standardized TAG to use, and tag all their favorite bread machine recipes, then search by tag.  I haven't had much luck searching online by tags with spaces in them, though.

What if we just add the words "bread machine" to the title (minus the quotations).

For example:  bread machine raisin nut loaf

I think if we ask nicely, Steve will be able to find a way to show us only the bread machine recipes, or bread and bread machine, but to leave out items such as bread crumbs.  Steve?  Is this feasible?

Speaking of raisin nut loaf, I have one baking as we speak.  I'm starting my holiday bread gifts today, and as soon as I get back from the market, the machine will be going non stop.

Anne

Sure thing -- I'll look into a better refinement of the recipes in this group later today.

OK thanks I've now refined the bulk-addition of recipes to this group to only include those recipes that have the words "bread" and "machine" somewhere in the tag list or the title.  There are currently now 168 recipes in this group.

Wow!  The Bread Machine group is now a useful place to look for bread machine recipes.  Thanks, Steve.

Steve is my hero!!  Always!!

Thank you

Anne

You're most welcome you two.  Hope you have a terrific holiday season.
