Subject: Is this addictif?

I am sorry I am not able to take the photo course but I certainly would appreciate comments or guidance from experienced photographs.   I seem to be using a "hit or miss" process and at the same time have a compulsive need for recipes in need of picture...
A gentle constructive critique of posted pics could benefit to all.  What do you think?

Food styling and photography certainly can be addictive. Many of us enjoy creating beautiful food almost as much as eating.

Post some of your pictures and folks will probably be glad to offer suggestions.

The start of the Food and Product Photography course has been delayed until June 17th so there's still time to register if you missed the first deadline.

?   How do I paste from my pictures to here?
Thx

At the moment, we do not support image uploading in the groups message area itself.  But you can link to any URL, simply by clicking the link icon in your post.  So, if you'd like to reference a specific photo, grab the URL of that photo and include it in a post.  Or, if you'd like to add a recipe to a group, go to that recipe's page and, on the right hand side, add it to the group.

Hate to be such a novice, but would you please explain more fully the admin. reply about image uploading.  For example, which icon is the link icon?  Is this only possible if the photo was accepted in the first place?  I'd love to be able to get the feedback of the group on future pics, but I'm in the dark as to how.  Thanks!

If you are viewing these groups in a web browser (and not from within the desktop software), you should see a toolbar above the edit window for your post, which lets you boldface type, change color of text, etc.
On that toolbar, you'll see a "link" icon, that allows you to add a hyperlink. What you can do is put the photo somewhere on the web, and then link to that URL, if you'd like feedback on it.  At present, photo uploads are not permitted in the group area, but you can link to them if you have another place on the web to host those images.  Thanks!
