Getting ready for Thanksgiving, 2008. What are your food plans for Thanksgiving 2008? I'll be doing a dinner with my relatives from all across the country, and we need a turkey that can be made within 2 days. I think I'll call ahead to the market to make sure they have a fresh one ready for pickup. The piquant cranberry sauce (linked in this group) is always a favorite pairing, as is my mom's traditional bread stuffing. You?
We will have thanksgiving with my father, brother and sister-in-law and their 2 kids. Thankfully, everyone will be invading my father's house. In addition to turkey he is going to make prime rib. I am trying to convince him to brine the turkey this year. The day after will be joining our "orphan" friends for another meal. As always, I will be the pie girl.
