Subject: Somewhat fitting, I guess

It's somewhat fitting that the only group of the 18 or so here on BigOven at current writing that doesn't have a logo... is called "The Lazy Chefs".

That might be because it's difficult to find FREE clipart.  Or because we're too lazy to find FREE clipart!!

Okay... we now have a logo of sorts.  That photo is actually copyrighted to me, but since this group is for the lazy ones amongst us, I'm sure members will be too lazy to copy it anyhow.

Now what a polar bear has to do with cooking, I haven't a clue, but he sure looks lazy enough to me.

Anne

Well, the polar bear is awfully cute and does look like I feel after a long work week!    That's why Friday is ALWAYS leftover or sandwich night at our house, but I have learned to whip up some awesome sandwiches lately.

Barbara,

Welcome to our little group.  Obviously, most of the members are even too lazy to post.  LOL  But that's okay, as long as they post some great recipes (as you always do).

Don't forget to try that cola chicken that's been on your "to try" list.  It's easy, and takes virtually no effort at all, and you could even make it in advance and then just heat it up in the nuke.

Happy New Year to you and yours.

Anne

Thanks Anne!  I think I will put the Cola Chicken on the menu for this week - I have a few open slots.    I'm looking forward to seeing more easy recipes here.  Happy New Year to you and your family also!

I've just added sgrishka's excellent "Sunday Pot Roast" to this group as well.  The first part takes about 15 minutes of setup work, but then it goes into the oven for about 4-5 hours.  It's terrific, and can be easily scaled up or down, depending upon the size of your dutch oven or pot.  Made it two nights ago and am enjoying the sandwiches and reheated dinner plates this weekend, after a lot of elaborate meal-prep this Christmastime.

Happy New Year everyone!

Oops - didn't realize that we should send a message of what we're adding here.  I'm new to this.  I added quite a few of my easiest and favorite recipes this morning.  I hope everyone approves and enjoys them.

You certainly don't have to post a notice whenever anything's added... just thought I would this time.  Thanks and Happy New Year!
