I was looking for a way to have spicy and sweet ribs and pork. Any ideas on fruit and pepper mixes?????? I used a product called "Texas Gold" from a web vendor which was pineapple and jalapenos......it was GREAT but I want to try a mix of my own? Thanks for help!

Are you looking for a BBQ sauce or a rub? what I do, is look a the ingred. on the bottle mix, and the order that they are in and add my own until it is close...
ok try this you need, 1 cup tom ketchup, 1 cup brown ketchup,
get half cup of soy sauce and half cup of worcester sauce then boil both to reduce by 2 thirds
then add ketchups to reduction with i tbsp of roasted garlic puree, 100 gr of brown sugar, juice and zest of 1 orange, three tbsp of vinegar, blackpepper, 2 cloves, cumin and chile powder to taste omit chile if you not wanr hot 1
simmer for 30 mins to conbine flavours and then add 1/2 cup of coca cola, strain and cool then place in jars with air tight lids,
use when required to baste any meats for bbqing enjoy
I just posted an easy dry rub.. but it doesn't use fruit. Just brown sugar and honey as the sweeteners. It's my favorite so far :)
