Deep Fried
Deep frying food creates a crispy coating on food by immersing it in very hot oil, usually after a batter is applied.
Popular deep fried recipes include:
- Fish and chips
- French fries (or pommes frites)
- Fried onion rings
- Tempura
- Fried Chicken
Be very, very careful with hot oil! Anything with moisture in it will spatter greatly, and hot oil can be among the most severe burns caused in the kitchen.
