    Nutrition info

I am a new 'trial-deluxe' user.  I would like to be able to use a program to help with meal plans focusing on weight control.  In the trial download there is not nutrition info unless I go ingredient by ingredient in each recipe and link each one.  Is this standard?  Or are they linked in the purchased copy?  Also, there are very few recipes in the course screens and none in the recipe or main igredient boxes.  Do I have to link them somehow or are they linked in the correct boxes in the purchased copy?

Pam I am a new user and I think the programme is fantastic. For the price of just one recipe book I now have access to thousands of recipes, hints and tips. I can also post my own recipes on the net and share other peoples too.

Yes, this is standard.  BigOven ships with nutritional information on over 6,000 basic ingredients, but you do have to do a one-time ingredient linkup per recipe.  It takes about 2 minutes per recipe, but never needs to be changed once it's done.

Also, there are very few recipes in the course screens and none in the recipe or main igredient boxes.  Do I have to link them somehow or are they linked in the correct boxes in the purchased copy?

I think what you're referring to is the "Quick Search" recipe box icons on the left hand side.  These are simply shortcuts for searches on key Main Ingredients and Key Cuisines.  The cuisine and main ingredient options that are presented to  you are populated from the startup recipe box, which is generally called "Standard.CRB".  By design, we're assuming that your startup recipe box will have a good assortment of Cuisines and Main Ingredients that could be used across boxes.  These icons are simply shortcuts for using the Find/More Options window, which is probably the recommended way to search.
