Q: "I cannot seem to log into the recipe archive from within the BigOven software."
A: There are a few things to check out.
- Double check that you are entering your email and password as BigOven expects. (Many people try to enter their BigOven.com username and password; that's not correct.)
- Second, you might try logging out first to clear all the BigOven-related cookies on your computer. To do so, you can log out here. Then, using your browser's Tools/Options command, delete the Cookies and Temporary Internet Files. (For BigOven for Windows, make sure you're using Internet Explorer.)
If you can log in there, but not from within the BigOven for Windows application, then go into IE's Security Tab (you'll find this under Tools/Internet Options), and make sure you add www.bigoven.com to the allowed list, and make sure that BigOven can write cookies as well, also on that dialog.
