Entering nutrition info not in database

As a follow-on question related to tlhagen's : How do I enter nutritional info for items not currently in the database ? Your earlier post mentions 'entering items in the database'  - where is that ? Do you mean in the nutrients window ?  That only allows teaspoon and tablespoon measures from what I can see. What if your nutritional info is based on a cup or 3 tablespoons or 4 teaspoons ?  Must you manually calculate the equivalent of 1 tablespoon or teaspoon ?

Also, if I incorrectly enter an ingredient line in a recipe how do I delete it ? Not seeing how this is done.

    Thanks, Paul

To delete an ingredient line, simply click on the row selector (the scale icon) and press the Delete key.  (To reorder ingredient lines, you click on an ingredient line and click the arrow button on the screen up or down.)

To add new nutritional items, go to the Nutrients view and click "New".  You can define all the values for the nutrition from the label itself.  (You're not limited to tablespoons or teaspoons.)  You should be able to say that in one serving, there is, say, 1 cup, and that in this serving amount (whatever it is), there are X grams of protein, fat, etc.
