On Thursday, November 13th, from approximately 10AM to 12:20PM Pacific Time, we performed a major site migration to entirely new production servers. This new home for BigOven.com has several times the throughput of the previous configuration, and is more scaleable in the future.
At this writing (12:25pm Pacific Time, Thursday Nov 13th) the operations job is largely complete, but we're still tidying up some loose ends.
If you are experiencing problems, please try logging out:

Then, close out of your browser (or BigOven for Windows), and/or delete the temporary pages you may have in your browser's cache. Then, log back in again. If you continue to notice repeated problems on a particular operation, please jot us an email note at support-at-bigoven.com.
