BigOven

I put a computer in my kitchen and installed a copy of bigoven on it. The program runs and shows the recipe boxes but i cannot open them. The filenames are good and they don't seem to be read-only. What causes this?

os: Windows 98SE, Internet Explorer 6.0

This can be caused if the file or folder is marked read-only, or if the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) have somehow become damaged.  There's an MDAC repair tool here -- would suggest you give it a quick try:

That did the trick! - not the fix, but rather, the install. Aparently Windows 98 does not typically come with those drivers. Thanks a lot.
