Wronfg address on registration/email capability=message of being wrong customer!

When I try to send a recipe to a friend I get a message that my SMTP is a problem.  Then when I go back and correct the spelling of my comcast.net address, it now tells me I'm not the correct consumer!  PLEASE help me!

Unfortunately, many internet service providers have started using SSL for their outgoing email (smtp) servers.  While we aren't sure if your Comcast smtp server is one of them, BigOven does not support SSL, and may give errors like this.

One workaround to email recipes is as follows:

    • Select the recipe(s) you'd like to email in the left hand result list.  (You can hold down ctrl or shift to select multiple ones at a time).
    • From the Edit menu, choose "Copy Recipe Text"
    • Alt-tab to your email program and paste it into the email message
