BigOven can"t connect to the website

    BigOven can"t connect to the website

    I can no longer connect to the BigOven website when the program launches.  It says that I need an Internet connection, etc.  I HAVE a connection, and I can connect with my browser (Firefox) without any problems.  Big Oben has full access in my firewall settings (PC Tools Internet Security).  I have also tried switching back to the Windows Firewall.  Same results.


    Is there a setting that I need to change to correct this?  It wroked perfectly when I last used it (March or April)


    I run WindowsXP Pro SP3.

    The only thing that can cause this is a firewall setting, either Windows Firewall, any add-on firewall you may have, or potentially (very rarely though) in your router.  Make sure that you grant full permissions to BigOven to access the Internet.

    I have the firewall settings set to allow BO to connect to the internet (full access?).  There must be something else out of sync.


    I have turned off my firewall, and still can"t connect.  Help please??
