    import list of recipe names/titles

    For each of my cookbooks, I make a list of recipe names to index them on my computer.  I'd like to import these recipe names as recipes in Bigoven, so that I can use Bigoven to catalog the recipes and add notes to them when I cook them, etc.  Is there any way to do this as a batch process?  For example, if I have a list like this:

    Tomato Sauce
    Hummus
    Lentil Salad
    ....

    Can I take that list and somehow use it to create recipes with each of those names?  This would be very helpful since I have thousands of recipes already indexed!

    Thanks,

    Lisa

    Sorry, no, that's a feature request.  We're not aware of any recipe software that does this.  One suggestion -- would be a great summer project for a local highschool student looking for some money!  Smile

    Actually, I figured out a way to do this myself.  I just wrote a script that converted the list into MX2 format.  I can then import the MX2 file.  I think it would be a nice feature if BigOven could do this for users in the future though!
