Me too. (Vista Ultimate)

Me too: "0 days" To clarify, that was _mere minutes_ after I downloaded, installed, and restarted. Not over 30 days later.

Exactly so.

Absolutely not!

You need competent advice before posting _tech support_ answers. It's abundantly
clear that you are just bumbling around on this particular issue.
I work in senior tech support for a major unix installation. I specialize in the area of computer security. I don't claim to be a Windows guru, but I'm probably in the top 1% of your BO customers.
An admin account should be used SOLELY for installing software and other related admin tasks, such as (for Windows computers) running Windows Update, etc.
Limited user accounts should be used to _run_ all end user software. All the time!
A few minutes with google will find you articles on Windows security that say that 80% of Windows security threats are avoided/eliminated by routinely running in a limited user account. Do the math.
Today I downloaded and installed the BO trial version. I restarted and then logged into my user account. BO would bring up a small window that says "0 days" and would not start. I went into the admin account and it would run.
90% of the time that I have experienced this, the problem has been with the software's installer.
Tell your developers that you're not getting your money's worth if they 1) made a lame error like this and then 2) didn't even test for it. It costs you customers.
Just to be clear, I buy, download, and install (in the admin account) lots of software on this computer. 95% of it installs and runs -- in limited user accounts -- just fine.
