BigOven

I updated my Big Oven to 1.8.989 deluxe version (it says on the About Section) but I did not unibstall the older version nor have I ever done so (I have VISTA Home Deluxe Version now). Will I have a problem later ? Should I go back and uninstall Big Oven program and re-install it, if so will I loss and recipe info ?

 No need to, if you're already up and running with 1.989.  The reason we strongly encourage uninstallation is that for some users, the necessary components (called the C runtime, CRT and the MFC libraries) will not be installed without a full uninstall/reinstall.  Thanks!

I was running 1.988 and performed the upgrade. On reboot I received the following error in a Window when trying to execute BigOven after the reboot: C:\Program Files\Lakefront Software\BigOven\BigOven.exe The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event logfor more detail. Download vcredist_86.exe to your computer (any location will do), and then double-click on it to run the installer.  This contains the file  Microsoft.VC90.CRT, version 9.0.30729.4148.  (If you get an error on install, it could be that your version of Windows Installer on your particular machine is corrupt.  You can download a new version here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942288).  Thanks!
