Grams is a unit of weight, not volume.

(That is, 1 tablespoon of something may equal 15g, but 1 tablespoon of confectioners sugar does not weigh the same as a tablespoon of liquid gold or lead... )

Thanks for replying.

No problem, understand what you are saying but there are cup to gram converters on the web.I just thought it would be easier if all conversions were on one program.

Re: Unit Converter

Grams is a unit of weight, not volume.

(That is, 1 tablespoon of something may equal 15g, but 1 tablespoon of confectioners sugar does not weigh the same as a tablespoon of liquid gold or lead... )

Unit Converter

Hi is there any reason why you don't have a grams conversion in the volume section of the Unit Converter.? I know there is a tablespoon measurement which I believe equals 15g, it is just a pain to have to keep multiplying on a calculator as an extra task. I live in Spain & we do not tend to use cup measurements here. I believe there is also a difference between an American cup/spoon size and an Australian one.
