Lights, Camera, Action! Become a Cooking Star -- Submit Your Cooking Videos!

Have you ever wanted to star in your own cooking tv show? Maybe you've got what it takes to be the next Giada DeLaurentiis, or Rachel Ray, Mario Batali or Bobby Flay!

Now in beta: BigOven.com is now accepting your cooking and food videos!

Submit your cooking video [beta] -- feel free to submit an entire series if you've got it.

Here are some ideas for videos you could create and submit: Make your favorite recipe, and share it with the world! Or, perhaps you have a quick tip or two to share. Or a special technique you want to illustrate, like the right way to carve a turkey.

Once reviewed and approved by an editor, we'll host them on the web for free! BigOven.com accepts videos about food and cooking in Flash Video (.FLV), Quicktime (.MOV) and Microsoft Video (.AVI) formats. As with photo submissions, we reserve the right to approve/reject based on suitability of content and overall quality.

Please note that this is an early release of the video upload process only, and it truly is a beta to help us test out the submissions process. To watch the videos, you'll have to wait a few more weeks; it's still in development and should roll out over the coming month.
