    Re: Data transfer to PDA

Thank you very much for the quick response.

    1. Suggestion to shut down PC and Mobile apps: I had already done this, but am unclear what it is meant to accomplish. Once an item/file is marked as "unresolved" by Active Sync, I believe that you must manually tell it to "resolve" the item before it will try to sync it again. Even if this process were not manual, however, it would just keep failing over and over again instead of actually fixing anything (though if it popped up error messages - which it doesn't -  I suppose that could be annoying...maybe that's what you intended to resolve?)

     2. Yes, I have confirmed that the Mobile Companion is shut down completely before the Active Sync attempt. You can either click on the close "X" in the upper right corner or use Tools > Exit, but either way it is completely and cleanly removed from the list of running programs on the Treo. The shopping list file remains locked once opened, however, until the Treo is rebooted or the file is deleted.

Do you have an estimated time line to resolution for this issue? One of the biggest reasons that I am looking to purchase BigOven is to automate my shopping tasks.....a PERFECT application for my Treo (a mobile device which I believe to be quite common). I know I could just print the shopping list, but I would prefer the mobile support for many reasons (not the least of which is that the PC with Active Sync doesn't have a printer).

     Thanks again.
