BigOven

Hi, installing BigOven in my machine the setup process get stopped at about 80% of the progress bar, but after several minutes a message saying

"

Error number: 0x80040708

Unable to create required engine components, check whether you have appropriates privileges to create COM components. (0x80004005 Error not specified).

"

appears. I'm local admin of my machine of course, so no permissions problem should happen.

Installing it in my husband's machine (exactly same configuration, software, hardware, etc.) the setup runs smoothly and the application does run.

Any clue?

We haven't seen this InstallShield error message before, but checking Google, it appears you may have a corrupted Windows installation:

Some people have suggested reinstalling Windows, others have suggested visiting www.windowsupdate.com and seeing if you have any service packs that need to be installed.

I've already seen these reports before to ask here, but there is nothing "corrupted" in my machine, I permanently run the Windows Update without problems and when something comes "corrupted" it is for all the products running/being installed/being used, not for a specific one.

Well, I can't use your program, thanks anyway.
