The Screen Import feature is meant to be an aid to save typing time, but unfortunately it cannot parse all forms of English recipes. Some recipes, after pasting into the edit window, need to be fixed up just a bit in the edit window before highlighting the ingredients section:
* Remove all asterisks or bullets at the start of the line

Here's one other possibility -- if you are in the trial version, you are limited to 2,000 recipes in a single box. Are you perhaps at the maximum?

Strange, it sounds like it's having a hard time writing to the recipe box (database) file. Things to check:
* Are there any unusual characters, or extremely long fields, in the recipe itself that make it different than the others?
* Does this happen if you try to import this into another recipe box?
* When you paste that recipe ...

There are many variants of MealMaster and MasterCook formats out there. We've tried to build BigOven's import routine to be fairly flexible to recognize variants, but it could be there's another flavor out there that it doesn't process. We can't guarantee we'll be modifying the import routing ...

We definitely want to have private recipes easily available via mobile devices. One big technical gotcha for the time being (and perhaps the indefinite future) is that the iPhone, for instance, doesn't really have a good data synchronization API between desktop PC's and the iPhone. ...

That's a great feature suggestion -- we don't have a way to do this right now, but will add "bulk upload & favorite" to the list. (In the meantime, maybe there's a local highschooler that would like an extra $20 spending money :-))
