Free Recipe of the Day Sidebar Gadget (Vista / Windows 7)

Get unstuck for dinner! Put the BigOven Recipe of the Day on your desktop -- and you'll have easy recipe searching always at-hand.

We've updated the free Recipe of the Day sidebar gadget. Windows Gadgets only work on Microsoft Windows Vista (all editions) and the new Windows 7 beta.

To install it:

1) Make sure you're running Windows Vista or Windows 7. It won't work on other operating system.s

2) Visit this link: http://www.bigoven.com/downloads/sidebargadget2/bigoven.gadget

3) Choose "Open", then "Install...". It'll install the gadget you see above to your sidebar (Vista) or desktop (Windows 7).

Each day, the gadget will show you the Recipe of the Day. You can enter any recipe title in the search box, or a list of ingredient names, separated by spaces.

This Windows Vista Sidebar Gadget gives you the Recipe of the Day -- which is a seasonally-appropriate, highly-rated recipe, plus a quick way to search the archive, right from your desktop! The BigOven Recipe Gadget for Windows Vista is easy to install. If you're running Windows Vista, simply click on the link below, choose "Open", then "Install".

Tips on searching: To search for a recipe, note that you can enter any string of ingredients, cuisines or tags, separated by a space. For instance "chicken spinach" will find all chicken and spinach dishes. Or, "chinese spicy chicken" will find all the spicy chinese chicken recipes in the archive. Happy Cooking!
