New Computer

I had Big Oven installed on my windows based computer but it crashed. I had ordered the eDS protection plan so that I can re-download Big Oven. Now we have an iMac computer though so I need to know how to download Big Oven to that. I saved all my recipes onto a thumb-drive. I canNOT remember my serial number from when I ordered it before. PLEASE HELP!!! I MISS BIG OVEN!!!

two questions - how to change email address, also bigoven keeps wanting to "debug" for the last couple of days, and I don't know how to fix it. Help???!!!

I don't see a solution in the help faq's, so if there is I'm sorry, but I don't understand it.

How do I figure out nutritional values?

My entire reason for trying BigOven was for the ability to figure out nutritional values on recipes I enter as well as ones you have listed. I can’t figure out how to do this. Can you help?

problem with search function

Hi,

Since your recent update, I can not search across multiple recipe boxes. What is the fix for this? If I search within a single box I can find recipes that are in that box, but it doesn't bring up recipes that I have in other recipe boxes. Help!!??!!

Alphabetizing cookbooks

My recipe boxes start off with 'Appetizers', and proceed, in alphabetical order to 'Xmas 2007' (which is where I store the recipes I plan to make as gifts this year). And then things start all over again, beginning with 'Beef' and continuing through 'Vegetarian.' What I want is just ONE alphabetical list.

I just downloaded the free 30 day trial. I have started to input some of my own recipes in the system. Wondering if they will still be there when and if I decide to purchase the Bigoven? I probably will; so far I am really impressed!

Re: PDA recipies keep getting erased

I just realized this weekend that I am having the same issue. Despite unclicking the "clear recipes" box, I still end up with only one recipe on the PDA.

I am using a Palm III w/ version 4.5.1p operating system. I am using version 1.8.972 of Big Oven.

How Do I get Backup Cd

I am ready to order the Deluxe $29.95 Big Oven but not real clear how to add CD backup to my order. Does it cost more? I read how but each time I click the CD icon I am not sure it is added . It really does not show it added to my order. Mayby I am doing it right/Mayby I am not. I just cannot see anything change on my order? Please explain. TYVM

Can't email recipes: Response:556

I am having trouble emailing recipes. Some email fine but other give me the following error message:

"Couldn't send message

Response:556 null byte in data"

What does this actually mean and how do I fix? The error message itself is of no help to me.
