Nutritional analysis Seriously Wrong

Something in the nutritional database is seriously messed up! i imported the "Pork Steak Bake" recipe from the website, since it was simple. i tried the auto link, and it did not work, so i linked each ingredient, paying careful attention to the quantities of each, ie grams in the links i was making.

Still, the program tells me that 4 servings of this contain calories: 687257%/13745136 !!!!!!!

seriously, i want to make a crack about this, but 13 million calories is so far off the planet i can't think of anything!

My Page/Recipes...can't see from mobile

I'm at "My Page." I have 4 recipes listed. I try to view those 4 recipes by clicking on "Recipes" from my mobile phone....nothing. I would love to be able to click on my recipes from my mobile Android. I can view all of your recipes from BigOven. Will I ever be able to view my personal recipes? Thanks.

entering a receipe

I have a Mac. When I enter a receipe on the web form I get an error, but I have no idea what the error is. I am using teh FireFox browser.

Giving a medal BUG

How do I give a medal? (Vista, Firefox, etc.)

Errors on nutrition analysis

I keep getting HUGE errors in the nutritional analysis of my recipes. I have checked the Nutrient Information for ingredients and they are, for the most part correct (although some of them omit information). I have gone through and added the nutrients by hand and with a calculator and the analysis for the recipe will be off by as much as 5x!

I purchased this program particularly for managing my brittle diabetes and mistakes in the nutrient information can mean a serious medical problem for me.

The program also appears to have great difficulty finding ingredients even though I have used it a dozen times before. When I try to find an ingredient for linking to nutrient information, the program cannot find it so I have to go through full list to find it. I am listing ingredients the way they are named on the list, so there is no reason for this ohter than a bug.

Another thing that is irritating but doesn't render the program unuseable is that I am unable to delete recipe boxes. I have gone to my folders directory and deleted and renamed files but the old files and/or names still show up when I try to open a file.

If there is no fix, please refund my money.

Image import crashes on "file name" URL

This is just a bug report. I've already figured out a work-around for the problem, so I'm good.

Here's what I did, and what happened:

I created a recipe
I found an image online I wanted to use with the recipe
I couldn't paste the URL into the text box next to image, so I hit the browse button.
When the "Choose an image|(.jpg)" dialog box popped up, I pasted the URL into the "File Name" text box and hit the Open button
I got a message box saying "BigOven for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and offering me the opportunity to send a report to Microsoft

Then, I figured out the right way to get an image from the web into a recipe

Get Bigoven running again
Right-click on the image in the web browser and choose "Copy" from the menu that pops up
In BigOven, click the "paste jpg" button on the Notes/Tags tab

And that worked fine.
I'm just reporting the results of "stupid user" testing. Maybe some future BigOven can inspect the "File Name" string so it can recognize bad ones and avoid a crash.

Vista problems with finding recipes

I upgraded computers and am now running Vist with my Big Oven. I am having a problem when I click the Find button and then the more options button. The next window that opens does not open to the full width of what it used to on Windows XP. I can't widen the box to show the selection options for which recipe box to look in and the Find Recipe and Cancel button are only showing half of the button. Does anyone know how to fix this? Are there going to be any patches of fixes coming for the Vista compatability problems?

update link doesn't work

Had to reformat my disk and reinstall Big Oven. Whenever I try to access the update link, I get the "Page not found" message. Any solutions?
