Incorrect leftover search

Hi,

I've just done the leftover search to use up some coconut milk. Although the search engine brings up some recipes using coconut milk, the majority is for recipes that contain both coconut and milk, which is really not what I want at all. Is this a bug, and would it be possible to fix?

Part II: can't delete recipes

haven't seen this one yet on the forum - click on recipe in Rbox, hit delete key, screen on right returns to welcome screen & recipe is still in Rbox.

Attempt 2: right-click on recipe, click "delete", same thing happens.

would really like to be able to get rid of the recipes I won't be trying.

Post-install of update: can't import, 0 recipes in status bar

Did update (BO deluxe version) install w/out removing all data during uninstall of previous version. Searched bigoven.com archive for recipes using FIND button, clicked one result, clicked "IMPORT" button & screen on right changed to Butter Pecan Pie recipe w/ the pic from the garlic thyme chicken recipe. Tried importing several other recipes from results list, all with exact same outcome.

Uninstalled updated version, cleared registry entry (per instructions on bigoven.com), re-installed update. Same results after clicking "IMPORT" only this time got the Butter Pecan Pie recipe w/ pic of a berry pie.

Also, recipe count in status bar (no matter which Rbox I'm in, or what recipe I click on) says 0 recipes. According to forum, this seems to be a common issue w/ new update. Not too worried about this one - more concerned w/ import issue.

Cannot access opening screen?

Hi,

Just recently I have been having difficulty, when opening the BigOven program, loading the opening screen. The program loads OK and all the functions seem to be there to load and edit my own listed recipes but, no access to the opening (online) screen.

I've tried clicking on the "Home" button - nothing! I've shut down the program and reloaded it -nothing! I have no option but to go away and do something else for a while after which, normally, everythng will load normally.

I've checked my internet connection and it seems to be fine. Any ideas?

Errors on nutrition analysis

I keep getting HUGE errors in the nutritional analysis of my recipes. I have checked the Nutrient Information for ingredients and they are, for the most part correct (although some of them omit information). I have gone through and added the nutrients by hand and with a calculator and the analysis for the recipe will be off by as much as 5x!

I purchased this program particularly for managing my brittle diabetes and mistakes in the nutrient information can mean a serious medical problem for me.

The program also appears to have great difficulty finding ingredients even though I have used it a dozen times before. When I try to find an ingredient for linking to nutrient information, the program cannot find it so I have to go through full list to find it. I am listing ingredients the way they are named on the list, so there is no reason for this ohter than a bug.

Another thing that is irritating but doesn't render the program unuseable is that I am unable to delete recipe boxes. I have gone to my folders directory and deleted and renamed files but the old files and/or names still show up when I try to open a file.

If there is no fix, please refund my money.

when I sent my recipes in to be posted they are on oppisite titles...What can I do???

Program crash on VISTA

When I try to edit several UNITS in a recipe, (changing pounds to lb; teaspoons to tsp), the first correction will take until I make a second correction. When I enter the second abreviation and click enter, the first correction will revert back to the original entry. If I make any correction and hit the down arrow to move the recipe up, the program crashes. Continuous happening.

Problem with the "Options" window under "Find Recipe"

Hi,

I have been creating a good sized cookbook this past week. Today I wanted to search for a recipe containing "mushrooms" I clicked on "Find", which came up just find, then clicked "More Options". That is when only a partial window appears IE: on the right side of the window I get.....

Look in Recipe

All Recipe B

Look on Big Oven

The boxes for Find Recipe reads "Find Rec".

Box for Cancel reads "Cance".

The Window itself is impossible to enlarge the same way as your usual window by holding your mouse over the edge and pulling the window wider. Can this problem be fixed. It is very annoying since I can't tell the program where to look. It's also annoying because of the partial command boxes.
