Printing a recipe

It would be nice if there were a PRINT IMMEDIATELY feature that simply printed the current recipe on the default printer. Right now it is Print->Preview and Print->Print Preview->Print->Printer dialog. It is a 5 step process to print a recipe.

Multiple Store Feature

Hello, we have been using the product now for 4 months and are very impressed so far. We have a large family (5 kids) and do a lot of menu planning. With five kids and a single income we do watch where we buy various items. Some thing we purchase at Whole Foods, some at a local grocery store and some at Costco. It would be great if we could enter which store we purchase various items so that when we print out a shopping list we can sort it by store AND deptartment.

Refining Searches

Although the Advanced Search does add some abilty to refine searches, I often find that I need to EXCLUDE words from my searches to reduce the list of finds to a reasonable size. For example, if I want Tamale recipes and search for "Tamale" in the title. I get lots of Tamale Pie, Tamale Soup, XXXXX with Tamales, etc. Or I might be looking for a particular recipe that excludes a certain ingredient.

You used to offer some of this "refinement" on your website searches. Unless I've missed something, it seems that even that functionality has disappeared. Please bring it back.

SEARCH FUNCTION feature request

Under the "More Options" of the search function in the desktop application, add a "Posted By" field option to add a chef's name to filter search by.
Under the "More Options" of the search function in the desktop application, add a "Source" field option to filter search by.
Under the "Recipes" of a Chefs page, from within the desktop application or the web, add a search function to search within that chef's recipes.
Recipes on a Chefs page are now in alphabetical order (and can be viewed by jumping ahead by page number), add a letter option to jump ahead by letters, e.g., "C" to jump to recipes starting with C, "S" to jump to recipes starting with S, etc.

App for G1 Phone with Android?

As I have a G1 phone with Android, I would like to know if an app similar to the IPhone's is in the pipe; if so, is there a timeframe for its availability?

Navigation via ENTER Key option

I'm a very happy new user of BigOven software. When entering a new recipe, I see that the TAB key is used to toggle between fields. It would be a "nice to have" to add a navigation option that would allow users to specify which key to use (ENTER vs. TAB) to toggle between fields. I've used other software products that offer this as an option. Thanks for considering this as a future enhancement idea.

Being able to search by appliance. Maybe in tags or something. I would like to find food processor recipes. I know people in the bread machine group were wanting their recipes separated out, too. Also perhaps some advanced search procedures, so that if I put in tortillas, I can let it know I want to make tortillas, not use them in a recipe.

I would also like for my Try soon to show up on the website. Or am I doing it wrong?

Palm Conduit Software Suggestion

I just joined Big Oven,and am very impressed with the capabilities. I also use the Palm conduit. I would like to make the following suggestion:

So far, I cannot find a way to export the recipe out of the palm. I cannot copy and paste it into an email, a memo, etc. I cannot beam it with infrared.

If there is a way to do this, please let me know at Fishbook@sbcglobal.net.

If not, then I would hope the software designers can find a way to add that function, to eliminate the need to re-type a recipe if we wish to share it with a friend.

If I have VIRTUAL PC FOR MAC software on my mac computer, will I be able to install and run BigOven ?
