One of the top-requested features on the iPhone is now here: Rate recipes from your mobile device!

More ratings make BigOven better for everyone. As long as they are helpful and polite, we want as many recipe ratings / comments as possible.

One of the top-requested feature from over 2 million iPhone dowloads has been "I'd like to rate this recipe from my iPhone". Well, now it's here! Simply tap the "Rate" button at the bottom of the screen and you can contribute your ratings to the site.

Notice how the rating shows up with a little phone icon (on both the website and mobile device):

I agree! I really miss the syncing feature that's enabled for Windows Mobile. I would gladly pay for an iPhone app that would do the same.

Hi there I remember using this app many years ago on my windows pda. I have now moved to an iphone, but find that i miss the ability to transfer my grocery list to my handheld. This would be incredibly handy. Regards, PB

I've been a MasterCook user for about 10 years, but the software that gets the Android app first will be my choice. I'm on a T-mobile MyTouch.

We've just added two new features to the free iPhone App:

You can now email any recipe to up to 5 people (including yourself) at a time
You can now email feedback or product suggestions to us

I have the iPhone BigOven app, and it doesn't do what I would like it to do. I think it would be more convenient if I could just export my recipes directly to my iPhone without having to post them online. The reason for this is that most of the recipes I make are from cookbooks I own, which are copyrighted. It would be illegal for me to post them on a public site.

Can a user post a recipe and keep it private?

BigOven's website is a great idea. However, if I understand the rules correctly, we cannot post any recipe from our computer that is copyrighted by someone else. I wish there was a private feature. Here is what I would like to do.

Enter a a recipe that is copyrighted in my PC copy of BigOven. Use this version for menu planning and shopping list. I'd then like to post it in "private" mode on to the website, so that I can see it anywhere I am via the web and on my iPhone. However, no one else can see it since it is copyrighted.

Is this feature available or being considered?

App for G1 Phone with Android?

As I have a G1 phone with Android, I would like to know if an app similar to the IPhone's is in the pipe; if so, is there a timeframe for its availability?

Using iPhone with BigOven application

I recently noticed that BigOven now supports a linkup with the iPhone - however it does not seem to support linking information from the BigOven application on my desktop to the iPhone as it does with the Palm or the WindowsMobile applications. Does anyone know of an application or a way to do this?

OK, So I have BigOven on my iPhone - works great. Now how do I tell my paid BigOven Windows Version so I can sync and share favorites in both places?I have not found anything on the desktop app to link these up...
