BigOven ID #

A BigOven ID # is the recipe's unique identifying number.  You'll usually find that it's the only number in the web page's address (also called the "URL").  In the example below, the ID # for "Chicken Piccata with Capers" is 148336.

Finding Recipes Quickly

1.)  From the Windows Software -- From BigOven's Find Dialog 

From within BigOven for Windows, you can simply type the BigOven ID number into BigOven's Find window as shown:

Click OK, and you're there!  BigOven quickly finds the recipe for you.

2.)  From BigOven.com

You can enter the recipe id number in the search box, and press "Search".  BigOven will take you right to the recipe page.
