Your Try Soon Queue is a ready-to-go list of
recipes that you'd like to try in the next 30 days.
In this way, it's different from
your Favorites list, which never expires recipes without you explicitly
removing them.
When you sign up to use BigOven.com
as a member
you get a built-in Try Soon Queue (or "ordered list"), that you
control. You can adjust the order of
various dishes in your Queue page whenever you'd like. Create
a queue of recipes you'd like to try soon as you're browsing the site, and
then, when you're stuck for what to make tonight, simply visit it again
from any web browser:
www.bigoven.com.
Other BigOven cooks can suggest
items for your Try Soon Queue, and you can suggest recipes
for theirs! Simply click "Suggest to Friend" .
Unlike your fridge, your Queue
cleans itself automatically over time. That is, to help keep Try Soon
lists as fresh as the food you like to eat, BigOven will automatically
remove a recipe from your queue 30 days after you add it. If you
want to permanently mark a recipe, flag it as a Favorite.
