Chicken Wings

One of the local grocery stores has the all popular chicken wing bar which I usually stay away from however, one day I tried a Vinegar Salt Wing.  Wow, it was very good. Unfortunately it is a pre-marinated frozen product from one of there vendors they simply deep fry and toss in to a seasoned sea salt right out of the fryer.  Slightly sweet, yet tart vinegar, maybe apple cider or Balsamic.  Anyone have a recipe or ideas for recreating.  Tyson used to supply them, now it's another vendor. Not sure who.  So they are out there.  Would greatly appreciate help, comments or idea's.

Thanks,

V.

Re: Chicken Wings

I would try Malt vinegar or Rice vinegar.  Rice vinegar might be just the one, as it is quite common in Asian recipies.  For salt, I would probably use a large grain salt, maybe grey salt, or Hindu pink salt.
