Diabetic Gourmet Magazine website
My aunt (my mother's last surviving sister) was recently diagnosed with diabetes. In helping her out, I have been using some recipes and information from the "Diabetic Gourmet Magazine" website diabeticgourmet.com/. Since I have never dealt with this disorder until now, I am lacking in the necessary diabetes-related knowledge to judge this website for its diabetes related health information nor its diabetic dining and cooking information. My questions are: Does anyone use this website as one your resources, and if so, have you found the health information, recipes and nutritional data contained there as being safe and accurate? Is this a website that you would recommend? Are there other or better websites that anyone would like to recommend I look at? Thanks! |

Re: Diabetic Gourmet Magazine websiteI've been a Type 2 diabetic for just over a year now, but I'm not familiar with Diabetic Gourmet Magazine (I'll definitely check it out). Visit diabetesdaily.com for recipes, information on diabetes, blogs, support and advice. I subscribe to the newsletter, and it always include one new recipe and links to others. dlife.com is another good website for recipes and information. |

Re: Diabetic Gourmet Magazine websiteHere are some website to educate and have recipes as well. www.eatright.org This is the home page of the American Dietetic Association. They may have some recipes but they do sell cookbooks. www.dce.com Diabetes Care and Education. This site is sponsored by the American Dietetic Association (eatright.org). Go to Education and Resources there you will find a link to their recipes. www.diabetes.org This is the website for the American Diabetes Association. In the search box type in Recipes and it will show you lots and lots of recipes. Hope this helps.
