Looking for a Thai recipe

Hopefully someone can help me.  Many years ago when I lived in Austin, Texas, we went to this tiny Thai restaurant and I got a dish called "Pad Ka Na".  It had chicken and vegetables in it cooked in the natural juices served over white rice.  I would LOVE to find a recipe that is very similar if not that particular recipe.  Can someone help?

Re: Looking for a Thai recipe

Pad means stir fry, kana means name of vegetable.

I live in thailand now but  Pad Kana is always vegetable(kana) stir fry.

I have never seen pad Kana with chicken.

If stir fry with chicken, name will change to

Pad Kana kap gai.

kap means with

gai means chicken.

I agree to antoine6, may be it made of garlic and oyster sauce or thai seasoningsauce with siyukhao(thai soy sauce)

is this help you?

I am not good at english. I try to write you.

Looking for a Thai recipe

Hi! im Thai and love to cook but!! not good in English too but want to try to explain about Pad Ka na.

Stir fry Kai Land and crispy pork

We normally make it with crispy pork or just pork not chicken :D

Ingredients

500 g Kai Lan cut in 1 inch size and separate the stalk and the leaves
200 g crispy pork cut in fairly large pieces
2 tsb. pounded chili and garlic

Seasonnings

1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. fish sauce
1 tbs. oyster sauce

Direction

1.Heat up the oil in the wok over very high heat. Add pounded chili and garlic to stir fry until fragrant.

2.Add crispy pork, kai lan’s stalk and leaves. Season with sugar, fish sauce and oyster sauce. Turn off the heat when the vegetable are wither.

3.Ready to serve.

This menu is so easy to make it,  i thought you can find all ingredient at Asian market,

ENJOY!
