Need a spice rub recipe...

I need a spice rub recipe for pork chops. Here's the thing though: We don't like spicy (hot). The chops are about 3/4 of an inch thick and we intend to grill them in a couple of hours. All ideaes greatly appreciated!

Need a spice rub recipe...

have you tried something like 'montreal chicken spice'?   use your mortar and pestle to grind it finer, if you find the coarse texture not to your liking.    also, just try mixing up a blend of your herbs and spices that will work well together.  for example, the ones you put into your turkey or pork stuffing, with a bit more salt, some garlic powder - yum.   sorry that you probably don't need this post anymore!!!  i just joined.
