Putting dough in fridge

I would like to use the bread maker for the dough cycle - use half to make rolls and then put the other half in the fridge or freezer. Has anyone tried to save some of the dough? Would it work to put it in the freezer? Thanks for your help.

Re: Putting dough in fridge

Hello,

I do pizza do in a similar way.  Make up the dough ahead and oil a ziplock bag and put it in there.  You could refig for a day or two(?) and let it warm up and raise(put it in an oiled bowl if you need more expansion room)  I usually freeze mine and then thaw in refrig overnight and take it out of refrig to warm and rest before I shape it into a pizza crust.  Works great for a quick supper.   I want to try rolls or hamb. buns soon.  I am a newbie to this yeast thing!  But really enjoy my breadmaker.  Good luck!
