1 mdOnion; Finely Chopped
2 ozThin Noodles
1 tbVegetable oil
1 tsGround coriander
1 1/4 cMilk; Or Coconut Milk
1 tbCurry powder
1 Bay leaf
2 clovesGarlic; Crushed
1 lbShrimp
1 tsGround Caraway Seed

Indonesian Curried Prawns or Fish Preparation

Shell and clean the prawns. Heat the oil, fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the prawns, curry powder, coconut milk, noodles, bay leaf, coriander and caraway. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. VARIATION: Replace the prawns with 450 grams of fish fillets, cut into 5 cm pieces.
