Original recipe makes 4
2 cTomato sauce
1 1/2 cWater
Pizza dough; (frozen bread
1 tsOregano
1/4 tsPepper
1 Garlic; minced
CANOLES
1 1/2 lbItalian sausage; browned
1 1/2 cOnions; chopped
1 tsSalt
1/3 colive oil
1 lbMozzarella cheese; cubed
2 tbChopped parsley
1 tsBasil
1 tbSugar

Italian Canoles Preparation

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Pour rest of ingredients in together. Add water; bring to a boil and simmer 2 hours. Flatten out balls of thawed bread dough; fill with meat and cubed cheese.
