1 tsSalt
1 tsSage; rubbed style
1/2 cFresh mushrooms; quartered
1/2 lbLean beef; cut in 1/" pieces
4 cWater
1 cDried navy beans
14 1/4 ozLow sodium beef broth
14 1/2 ozTomatoes, canned
1 cZucchini; sliced
2 cOnions; chopped
1 cChopped broccoli
1/2 cPasta; alphabet size
1/2 cPearled barley; uncooked
3 lgGarlic; crushed
1 tbDried tarragon
1/4 tsGround nutmeg
1 1/2 cPotatoes; cubed
1/2 cGrated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cCarrot; sliced
1/2 tsPepper

Italian Vegetable and Pasta Stew Preparation

Combine first 11 ingedients in 3 1/2 qt or larger crockpot. Cover & cook on high for 6 hours. Add zucchini & next 7 ingredients. Cover & cook on high an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender. Ladle into soup bowls & sprinkle with Parmesan.
