Original recipe makes 8
1 cFlour
1 tsSalt
1/2 tsBlack pepper
1/2 cButter; or margarine
1 lbGround Round
1/2 cOnion; chopped
3 10.75-oz cansBeef Broth
1/2 cCarrots; chopped
1/2 cPotatoes; chopped
1/2 cCelery; chopped
10 ozMixed Vegetables, Frozen; Thawed
1 cnTomatoes; chopped, undrained
1 tsMsg; (Accent)

K C Steak Soup Preparation

Brown meat in a heavy skillet; drain. Boil 2 cups water in a covered pan. Add vegetables, and cook until almost tender. Melt butter in a 4 qt dutch oven. Blend in flour. Add beef broth, and simmer until thick. Add tomatoes, vegetables with liquid, meat, and seasonings. Simmer for 30 minutes.
