2/3 cAll-purpose flour
2 cHeavy (whipping) cream
1 cFlour
4 lgEggs, at room temperature
1/4 cFresh Lemon Juice
1/2 cStrawberry jam
CAKE
1/3 cPlus 3 tablespoons sugar
Shortbread Hearts (in
2/3 cSugar
3 cSliced strawberries
3/4 -(up to)
2 tsBaking Powder
2 cSugar
1 pnSalt
3/4 cmilk
2 1/2 cSliced peaches; apples or
2 -(up to)
1 Butter

Lazy Fruit Cobbler Preparation

Mix fruit with 1 cup sugar. Cook in saucepan until tender. Put butter in 8x11 dish and place in 350 oven to melt. Combine remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour over butter, but do not stir. Pour hot fruit over batter. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes or until crust is brown. (Batter rises to top).
