Original recipe makes 8
4 ozPear baby food
1 cWhole wheat flour
2 tsYeast
1/2 cWater
1/2 tsSalt
nuts; optional, chopped
1 tbNonfat dry milk
2 cBread flour
1/4 cBrown sugar; packed
3 tbSugar
2 Egg whites
2 tsCinnamon
1/2 cRaisins; optional
1 tbHoney

Low-Fat Cinnamon Rolls Preparation

1. Combine first 9 ingredients (Water throuth Yeast), in bread machine pan in the order recommended by manufacturer. Set on dough cycle. 2. When cycle is complete, remove dough from pan to a lightly floured surface. If neccesary add enough flour to make dough easy to handle. Let rise 15 minutes. 3. Roll dough into 14 by 10 in rectangle. For filling brush honey on dough; evenly sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnimon raisins and nuts. Beginning at long end, roll up tightly, pinch ends to seal. Cut into 8 equal pieces. place cut side up on greased 9 inch round cake pan or 11 by 7 inch baking pan. 4. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, 30-45 minutes. 5. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Drizzle with Powdered Sugar Icing. (See Recipe).

    This was pretty good, but it tasted mainly like a bread with little other flavor. I like the concept, but would try to add some more flavor overall. I didn't use a powdered sugar icing, but just some drizzled honey on top. I might look around for a different recipe.
