This takes the traditional shepherds pie and adds a little southwest flair.
Heat oven to 425. Spray a 8x8 casserole dish.
In large skillet cook ground beef, onion and garlic. Stir in corn, green chills and pepper sauce. Transfer to 8x8 dish.
In a saucepan bring water, butter and cream to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in potato flakes. Spoon over ground beef mixture. Bake 15 minutes. Top with cheese and bake additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
