"This was wonderful. I used a much bigger brisket (11lbs) I just x4 the marinade. I also marinated it one of those bags you cook a turkey in. I added all ingrediance and squeezed all of the air from the bag. In the morning I removed a little over 1/2 the marinade secured thed turkey bag, popped a couple of holes in the bag and baked it for 7hrs. The meat fell apart and it was fantastic! Terrific brisket!! I put all the ingredients in a slow cooker and let it cook for 5 hours. I thickened the sauce with a little cornstarch. This saved a great deal of time and my family loved it!

This worked well in the crock-pot. The onions caramelized so i served them as well. Made a pot of BBQ sauce and some lime-marinated cabbage salad to go with it.

This was quite tasty but I wouldn't use as much marinade next time when cooking it. The combination of the marinade and juices from the meat makes for too much broth.
