Original recipe makes 2
5 flStock; or water with 1/4-stock cube
1 8-oz canred kidney beans
Salt and black pepper
2 tbTomato ketchup
1 8-oz canchopped tomatoes
1 tsCliilli powder
6 ozBritish minced beef; or lamb
1 smOnion; peeled
3 tbsweetcorn; Canned

Mexican Mince Preparation

Finely chop the onion. Place the meat and onion in a pan over a very low heat and dry fiy until golden. Ifthe meat is lean add 2 teaspoons oil. Add all the other ingredients (drain the canned beans and sweetcorn well) and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta and a green vegetable.
