4 slBacon -- diced
1 lgOnion -- diced
1 tsSugar
1 tbButter
1/8 tsPepper
1 Head cabbage -- chopped
1 cnSauerkraut - 1-lb. 11oz.

Mother-In-Laws Sauerkraut Preparation

In small skillet, cook bacon, saving drippings. In slow-cooking pot, combine sauerkraut, cabbage, onion, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour cooked bacon and drippings over all.
