Original recipe makes 6 Servings
2 tbOlives, ripe; sliced
1/2 cWine, white
1 lbOkra; cut into 1/2" thick
pnSea salt
1 Clove garlic; sliced
1 tsOregano
6 cRice; cooked, hot
1 Bay leaf
1 Onion; chopped
pnBlack pepper
4 lgTomatoes; coarsey chopped
2 tbParsley, fresh; chopped

Okra Italiano Preparation

Combine onion, garlic, tomatoes, okra nad wine in a lare skillet and bring to a boil. Add bay leaf and oregano. Lower heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper and ladle over rice. Garnish with parsley and olives.
