"It was a hit at my holiday party! After reading the comments of users of this recipe, I also added the last cup of cheese until the last 10 minutes of baking to make it crunchier on the top. I also sprinkled Italian bread crumbs at the same time. This gave it a lot of good flavor baked into the top layer of cheese. I also baked my macaroni and cheese in a 13 x 9 glass dish instead of the recommended dish. It worked out fine."- DeeDub85

Layer one third of macaroni in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese. Repeat layers once; top with remaining macaroni.
Reserve remaining 1 cup cheese.
Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingredients until blended; pour over macaroni.
Bake covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese and paprika.
Cover and let stand 10 minutes before serving.

rozellaboyce 1 year agoUsed aged white cheddar, gouda, colby, and monterey jack. It was a hit and it cut down on the oil from regular cheddar. It was a hit with my family.
mimi6511 1 year agoMade as part if Easter dinner. Everyone loved it. I added crushed ritz crackers mixed with melted butter on top for the last 10 min. Uncovered. Had to let side for about 15 min to let mac and cheese set. It was great.

Smazur 2 years agoThe eggs made it bake up like scrambled eggs. Not creamy at all, but nice and cheesy.
Sojourner 2 years agoI cooked it tonight. It was easy. I added crumbled buttered crackers on top ten mins before end of cooking time. Family liked it which is a huge plus. Next time I make it I will add some different spices to get more flavor...overall great dish.
kestp 4 years agoI have made this at least 3x and it was good. I used Heavy Whipping Cream in place of the milk and it was decadent!!

trkoala 5 years agoLoved it! Doubled the recipe and added a sleeve of crumbled saltines as a top layer. Yummy!!!

solitarydancer 6 years agoThis is easy and really tasty. The only thing I did different is when the last cup of cheese was added I put it back in the oven and cooked it another 10-15 minutes uncovered. One more thing I will do is cut back on the salt the next time I make it.
