"A classic American comfort food. I love mac and cheese and this was a very good recipe. It was fairly quick and easy to prepare and very satisfying to eat! The only change I made was to use Panko bread crumbs for the topping as they are larger and stay crispier than regular bread crumbs. The Panko crumbs made a crunchy topping that provided a delightful contrast to the cheesy noodles. I believe that the number of servings stated in the recipe are off. This is a huge recipe and even after halving it, I still had more than enough to feed 4." - sgrishka

This is a great, easy mac n cheese recipe. I love the crunchy topping. I like to make this for my kids as an alternative to kraft. I like to bake it in a cupcake pan for the perfect portion size, Added to favorites :)

Overall this was a great recipe and was really tasty. The sauce didn't thicken like it said it would but that didn't change the delicious taste. Next time I will skip the butter for the topping (I used panko for the topping). It added some unnecessary fat.

Very good Mac and cheese. I made it just like the recipe said. The only thing I would do differently next time, is to add more topping to it -probably make 3-4 times what it says I guess for the topping ingredients. Really good though. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Everyone loved it, I added some chopped onions and sprinkled some parmesan in with the breadcrumbs.
