3/4 cCoconut
1 tsBaking soda
1/2 cBrown sugar
1 tsBaking Powder
1 cFlour
1 1/2 cChocolate chips; or raisins
1 cOld mill oats
1 cButter
1 Egg
1 cGranulated sugar
1/4 cWheat germ

Old-Fashioned Coconut Oatmeal Cookies Preparation

Cream butter, sugars and egg together thoroughly. Add flour, oats, wheat germ, coconut, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with floured fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Makes about 3 dozen.
