Whipped Cream; Or Ice Cream
2 tsBaking Powder
1/2 cButter
1 cSugar
1 dsSalt
2 cPeaches, Fresh; Sliced
3/4 cmilk
3/4 cFlour
1 cSugar

Peach Cobbler (Old Fashioned) Preparation

1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. 2. Mix with i cup sugar, slowly stir in milk to make batter. 3. Melt butter in a 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan. 4. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. 5. Mix the peaches and 1 cup sugar thoroughly and carefully spoon them over batter. 6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. 7. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or homemade ice cream.
